Density: Hard
Traits: This is a dark brown wood with a grain that is dark brown to nearly black.
Very prone to oxidation when exposed to air. It's a strong, fine wood that is quite
porous. Resistant to pressure, tension, high temperature and humidity. Due to its
low moisture content and resilience, it's an easy wood to work.
Used in: Cabinetry, flooring and furniture.
