Traits: Its sapwood color is very light, almost white, and its heartwood ranges from olive to dark brown. This is a very heavy and oily wood, and as such, harbors excellent resistance to water. It is dificult to work with.
Used in: Similar to Teak. Used in marine applications such as shipbuilding. Also used in indoor and outdoor furniture and flooring.
