The postmodern style is a later incarnation of the
modern style, which emerged in the 1950s.
Postmodernism rejects the uniformity of modernism
while maintaining simplicity of aesthetic and
function. Kitchen furniture in this style is often
off in proportion, scale and dimension. As with the
modern style, it's mostly found in urban areas.
