Traits: This wood features a whitish yellow sapwood and a pale red, pinkish heartwood. It hold up moderately well to water but it tends to warp. Good for carving and rarely splinters.
Used in: Used in light marine applications, fine furniture, musical instruments, cabinets and carving.
