Traits: This is a reddish brown wood that is similar to Eurpoean walnut. It is very ornate and contains irregulat fibers. This is a thick, heavy wood that is difficult to cut and is very porous, so it doesn't hold up well to humidity.
Used in: Used in stairs, doors and veneers.
